Why I'm Running

Some of my earliest memories are from visits to Uncle Alex and Aunt Eleanor's house where the adults all talked politics and public service.

It obviously had an impact, as I've spent my life volunteering and serving my communities.

But serving in public office is something more. More than a family tradition.

It's a duty. And it's my duty to serve.

Why Now

After 24 years of absenteeism and mismanagement, the councillor for Parkdale-High Park is not running for reelection this year.

There is no incumbent.

There are (for now) nine candidates in the race to replace him.

The field is wide open for the right candidate to win.

And I know that candidate is me.

Why Me

I've lived here and served the community here my entire adult life.

Much has changed for the better in that time. Much hasn't.

This ward needs a candidate who is ready to fight for it. A candidate who can be equal parts diplomat and bull in a china shop.

I've started businesses, grown startups and been an important part of some of Canada's biggest tech success stories.

Over my career in engineering and tech marketing, I've become a veteran communicator, advocate, negotiator, and a persistent fighter when called upon.

I am the candidate the great ward of Parkdale-High Park needs.

I will eat, drink, sleep and breathe being your representative at city hall.
